Dried Porcini Mushrooms "Special" 50 gr
Pack of 50 g
The porcini mushrooms we offer are harvested from the end of May to the end of June and from the end of August throughout the autumn; they are recognized and distinguished from other mushrooms by the rounded shape of the cap and its different colors based on the type of boletus. The Special quality consists of porcini mushrooms of the Boletus Edulis family, which have the characteristic of growing only in coniferous and broad-leaved woods; its preparation consists in drying the mushroom in an absolutely natural way and without the addition of artificial substances, then selecting only the most homogeneous, intact slices, with thick cut and light or very light hazelnut color. This type of dried mushrooms also has a very intense and aromatic aroma and a strong and persistent flavor: a real excellence!
The 50 gr type will be delivered in an airtight bag and label.
Tips & Pairings:
To best prepare these special porcini mushrooms, we recommend soaking the product for about 1 hour, changing the water at least a couple of times; once found, they can be used in many ways, as if they were fresh: we recommend them for a high quality Carnaroli or Arborio risotto, stewed or to create sauces and condiments. Then perfect to be fried, after having passed them in batter of water and flour: being fragrant and aromatic, they must be the protagonists of the recipe!
